Warranty, Service Costs & Returns Policy

A return merchandise authorization (RMA) is required for all returns and repairs. Please contact support@pe-ltd.com to request an RMA before returning any product. Unauthorized returns may be refused or delayed.

Warranty & Repairs

Performance Electronics, Ltd. products are warrantied against workmanship or material defects for 1 (1) year after the purchase date. Damage or failures determined to be the result of misuse, improper installation, or other user-caused conditions are not covered under warranty. Products returned for warranty evaluation that are found to be operating normally and free of defects will be subject to a minimum $20 evaluation charge, plus return shipping. Please note: O2 sensors are considered consumable components in our applications and therefore excluded from warranty.

Repair work performed on any Performance Electronics, Ltd. product will be billed on a time-and-materials basis, plus shipping. Repair labor is billed at $90 per hour, with a one-hour minimum. Please note: Some of our products are designed with potted or encapsulated electronics for protection against environmental conditions. Due to this construction, these products are generally not repairable and may require replacement if a failure occurs. 

Performance Electronics, Ltd. assumes no responsibility for any damage that results from incorrect installation or misuse of its products. It is up to the end user to verify the correct setup and determine the suitability for their specific application. 

Returns & Exchanges

The following items cannot be exchanged or returned after purchase:

• ECUs
• Wideband controllers
• Sensors
• Custom wire harnesses

Returns for all other eligible items must be requested within 30 days of the purchase date. Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Credit card orders canceled prior to shipment are subject to a 10% processing fee.
